Acrobat xi and dc are the only two versions that are compatible with windows 10. if you want the basic version, that is called standard. so try acrobat xi standard.. Adobe acrobat 9 standard is ideal for office workers of any skill level. if your primary task is simply creating pdf documents, acrobat 9 standard may be for you. this software also lets you create and distribute pdf files, quickly create forms from paper or electronic documents, and easily exchange feedback with commenting tools.. I realize that newest version is adobe acrobat dc pro, but since it is newest and greatest, they are expensive. i am looking for an older version that is more affordable and runs on windows 10. thanks..
Adobe acrobat 9 pro extended $269 adobe acrobat 7 professional $69 adobe acrobat 9 professional $189 adobe acrobat 9 standard $99; compatible windows os: xp vista 7 8 10: 2000 xp disk space 2 gb free space for installation microsoft office compatibility acrobat 9 is only compatibile with office 2003-2010 product. you can still create pdfs. Acrobat 9.0 is not windows 7 compatible. however, i think it was compatible somewhere around 9.2.3. if you upgrade to acrobat 9.4.3 you should have no issues.. Generally, unless there’s a specific need for backward compatibility, use the most recent version (in this case, acrobat 9.0 and later). the latest version includes all the newest features and functionality; however, if you’re creating documents that will be distributed widely, consider choosing acrobat 6.0 or acrobat 7.0..
